Did anybody hear about the Iranians?

They're all pissed off because somebody found a Star of David built in to the roof of a building at their airport that houses their national airline.

It's for real too. You can see it on Google Maps. That's actually how the geniuses found it!

The original article.

It was apparently built by Israeli engineers before the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

I dunno, the whole thing made me chuckle at the absurdity or it all. Just thought I'd share.

BTW, that walkway at the front of the building looks a little suspect as well.

I also find it ironic that the gentleman covering the story for that article is named "Jesus".

Makes you wonder though. If this building is at the airport where thousands of people fly OVER it daily, how come NOBODY noticed this until somebody was looking at Google Maps?

Appears to have been accomplish by putting the two triangles at different heights, so you wouldn't see it without looking straight down. Because of the placement of the runway, no one was going over it at the right height: either too low and the angle is off, or too high and it's too small to see.

    Pretty awesome prank, though.

I'm surprised the building was even left standing, with it having been built by Israeli hands.

Oh well, put this down as reason # 2867390586 as to why they want to wipe the Israeli's from the face of the earth.

Still, what a brilliantly placed 40+ year old F U to the Iranians! Well done Israel!
    No excuses!
