Does anyone know of a good cheap DIY power cable that I could give a try?

PE has a 'kit', but check out the Signal Cable cord first, nothing can touch it at *twice* the price, and I doubt you could 'throw' one together for what he (Frank Dai) charges.

Mention Club Polk, get a (albiet small) discount.

    Cheers,

agreed with Russ, but in case you want to build one, here's a good reading:

I thought about the Signal cable. I'll make a stop in a read up again.

    Just started reading this.

I think this dude's silver interconnects are pretty well rated.

Thanks for link, no time to read now. Bedtime soon. ;)

Yeah, tell Frank you heard about his cable from Club Polk (and that you're a member and want the discount) and he'll drop 5% off of the total price (before S+H). Not very much, but it pays for the shipping and lets you get 2 day delivery (if you wish) at the price of ground :D Frank has excellent service, high quality products and excellent prices. I doubt you could do a DIY cable at a cheaper price than what he offers.

No experience, but after doing a little research on his site and others, I'd buy with confidence ... and will; I'll say the same about SVS subs.

    Brett,
I have Signal's MagicPower cord, analog two I/C, and biwire speaker cables (not the shotgun). They all great, for more descriptive review, please check signal cable analog two thread..buy with confidence.
