That was pretty awesome to watch. I'm sure it takes quite a bit of experience before you're ready to fly a model at 350+ mph. I looked around and found the turbine engine alone on that thing costs like $4000 here.

I'm not defending you. I'm mocking others.

I use the search feature and look farther than my nose to avoid such faux pas and not draw the ire of my fellow forum participants over an easily avoidable matter and I am baffled at the inability or maybe lethargy of others to do the same.

Its cool trust me jstas I wasnt offended by ben62670's comment. "inability or maybe lethargy" next time I will do a search in a polk forum for R/C planes. I do do searches in here for audio related stuff before I post anything.

Sorry, wasn't trying to come down on you either. The video was posted in the video thread. Not everybody looks there and there usually isn't extensive discussion there. Other stuff, like posting a thread about, say, Ostrich Buffers right above the top thread in a forum saying "Hey, look at this Ostrich Buffer!" is unforgivable.

Very interesting and entertaining video, Greg. Thanks for posting. And I always say just ignore those that get on your case about double posting.
I've never understood why people get their panties in a knot for a double post. So what! If they don't want to read the whole post or watch a video a second time then they don't have to. They're just a click away from "changing channels".

My thoughts exactly WHO CARES but obviously some people do. Yoy know how it is in here some people get some power "post count" and you know the rest. I just laugh at it.

My father invited my son and I to a model air-show and I couldn't believe the air power there. They had a paved runway strip about 1/4 mile long. There were planes there with up to 13' wing spans. I couldn't believe it! Jets were all over the place and they were jaw-dropping fast :eek:. I have some cooler pics but I'm afraid to infringe on someone's copyrights of their planes, so here's a teaser...and yes it's a model airplane jet. They were truly unbelievable!

Taking baby steps and ordered my 1st EDF plane. If I crash and burn oh well. RTF mini F/18 with 50mm fans. If it turns out fun, I'll follow the upgrade path.

Do you think they provided enough photos? So that thing is electric only? So there really isn't a chance of you actually crashing AND 'Burning'? Where is the fun in that? <jk>

Let us know how that works out. I gave myself a cheap little RC helicopter for X-mas. It will be my first RC flying. I could see this getting into a full blown hobby, maybe not 350mph jet league, but who knows...

Yes, I did miss the wink emoticon. On my screen it was on the line below the rest of the posting. Even so, everybody knows that a wink counts as a wink only when it is on the same line as the posting...unless, of course, there is a double wink. A double wink on the "secondary" line carries 93.5% of the meaning of a single wink on the "primary" line, which, in most forums, is accepted as a full wink.

And another thing....I just checked and my panties are not now in a knot. If I was a little more secure with my masculinity we could talk more about my panties but let's just leave it at that for now.
