Interest check for various 12AT7/ECC81/5Y3GT

I have spent the past year or so buying all types and varieties of the ECC81/12AT7 variant of tubes. I've amassed quite a stash with several dup and triples. I have finally decided on the best tubes for my main rig after lots and lots of listening.

It's time to thin the heard a bit. The 12AT7/ECC81 is not as popular and the 12AX7/ECC83 or 12AU7/ECC82 so I'm just posting an interest check before I photograph and describe the tubes I will be putting up for sale just to see if there is any interest.

Raytheon 6414 3-mica black plate
Amperex "PQ" 7062
Amperex Orange Globe ECC81
GE 6414 gray plate
GE 5965 side getter
GE 6211
GE 6201/12AT7WA 3-mica, horse shoe or "D" getter - hard to tell, from 1956
GE 6289
GE 6201 5 star black plate "D" getter.

National 5Y3GT
RCA 5Y3GT black plate "D" getter.

All tubes are used and strong.

Just post interest here. If I get enough hits then I'll turn it into a sale.

I might have a few more also.

    Nice list of tubes, Brock. I have more than enough though. Ever since scoring those Valvos and the Brimar, I should be good for awhile.

    That's the thing Mike, I've found my favorites in the Tele ECC801S and Valvo Hamburg tubes for this rig. I'll still hang onto some others as I have dups, but I don't need 3 pairs of 6414's or 2 pairs of GE 6201 5 Star, etc, etc.

    Christ, I have 3 pairs of Tele's and 5 pairs of Valvo Hamburg............should be set for those through my grand kids since those tubes last forever -lol

    It seems there is some interest so I will get things posted tonight.

    Anonymouse - The Raytheon 6414's are sold to a local friend, but I still have a trio of the GE 6414's, I'll post more details about them tonight in this thread.

    Most of the tubes listed are pairs except for the 6414's and Amperex 7062's.

    I have a pair of the Raytheon 6414's 3 mica black plate horse shoe getter back up for sale. The local sale fell through. These are a nice, strong used pair. I believe they are 1958. These are spares as I have 3 pairs and don't need them all. These are very nice sounding tubes, among my favorite 12AT7 variant.

    I agree they would be great back-ups. At this point I don't need any tubes, I have more than I know what to do with :smile:.
