Biamping LSi9's

Well I might F**k up receiver connections,

but I managed to use my NAD C162 and Rotel 5 channel amp and bi-amped the LSI9's....the C162 has two sets of preouts....1 is variable, but set it to zero...indeed, I don't hear any difference when I turn it up....assuming it affects sound (goes to upper connections), not sure how to determine it unless higher end gets too pronounced.....then do I adjust the pre output volume.....so, does this bypass crossover....is each speaker running on it own amp?

Anyway, the soundstage seems much wider to me, bass is strong without the roar I was getting in really deep passages....

I was using a C272 NAD with 150 watts per channel and huge dynamic....

so, I'm curious why the sound change...or is it in my imagination....??
