It's not all discontinued, most of it isn't actually.

I've bought from them many times, and i'm sure that lots of people here have, too. They're a standard online distributor that has a gigantic inventory, does huge volume of sales, has great customer service, and can keep prices that low out of sheer volume.

    Buy with confidence.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

I bought a Polk Micropro 2000 subwoofer from Newegg last month. They had a fantastic deal on them. No problems and I would buy from them again. Watch the prices carefully as they will constantly raise and lower the prices. They also have special online coupon codes

Newegg is more geared toward computers (at least in Canada) as far as Polk speakers, they seem to only carry mainly the obsolete/vintage models (at least in Canada) and a few cheapo RMs.

Newegg is the best thing to hit the internet since ****!

I build my entire computer and have upgraded it several times buying exclusively off the Egg and have always got super fast shipping and brand spanking new gear that worked the first time I fired it up. Their prices are the lowest you can find from a reputable dealer 90% of the time and their website is the easiest to navigate. Add to that their immense inventory and youve got a super easy website to research and compare prices and such.

I don't know about that one. The only thing better on the interwebs than **** is more ****.

Newegg usually has average to below average prices on most items. In package deals you can save a little more. And getting your whole package at once from them is usually cheaper shipping wise also.

I have used Newegg for about half of my online purchases and have never had a problem.

love the egg. been trying to snipe a great deal on a pair of monitor 30's for less than $80 and got too frugal (cheap) as they just sold out of them at the $80 price mark.

I've purchased computer parts from Newegg for the last 10 years. On the rare occasion I've had an issue, their CS has always taken care of it. They are an authorized Polk reseller, as well, so all warranty's are valid.
    Ludicrous gibs!
