I can get of pair of these for a decent price but need to know if they will sound good against or very close to the back wall....??

    My 15's sounded good fairly close to the wall. Hopefully someone who has them will chime in.

    My RTA11TLs are about a foot from the back wall and about 4 feet from the side walls. It sounds pretty darn good but might benefit from a little more room in back. I had them about 1.5 feet from the side walls and angled in a little and they had excellent imaging but the bass seemed muddy. I would move mine out a little but I have book cased in the way.

    Bottom line, I think you are ok with distance to the back but you may want to keep more distance from the side walls.
