Quick Question,

I just bought a Polk SoundBar 42" for my office and am wondering whether I should run the room correction of my Pioneer receiver? Is there any recommended way to go about tuning this strange speaker?

Thanks,

Mike

Congrats on your new toy acquisition. I own the SB42" and when I set it up using my Yamaha receiver, I do the room correction (YAPO or manual) just like I would do with a 5.1 package (I use in conjonction with a PSW110) and the end result is great. The outcome is pretty close to the RM10/20 5pack (uses the same drivers). IMO, room correction is applicable like any other 5 channels or 7 channels systems as the SB is actually a 5 channels which share common enclosure.

    Cheers!
