Hi guys, I've gone back into 2ch gear and will list later. my question is I'd
like to get something like a Mac c-26-c28 and these pres have speaker connections. Is there any difference w/ going through the pre as oppossed
to just the power amp like I have it now. Is this a preference thing or is there
a technical advantage. Thanks LW.

I have no first hand knowledge - but as I've read millions of posts on this - one side of it is if you get an intergrated amp, that is an amp and a preamp combined, you don't have to worry about synergy, and it's less electronics to get in the way of a great sound. Simpler = better. Not sure the other side of the argument, but again, that's what I've read.
