My wife works in downtown Seattle and catches the bus at 4pm pacific time, in 4 hours she is still in Seattle, at the MLK exit and the bus still has about 40 miles to go....Snow and wind is making the streets real icy and thats the problem, well, that and folks not having the correct tires on their cars AND a fatal car/pedestrian accident on I5 in Tacoma :frown:

She will probably get home in time to turn around and go back to work, I would use this time to swap some speakers around but the power has been going off and on so dont want that to happen as I go to take a step into the garage with a speaker in my arms and poof! Well, poof then bam, then expletives then emergency room

Took me 4 and a half hours to get home from Everett. What a fiasco! So many idiots in the ditch. Seattle drivers are retarded.

Yeah, remember that Monday night two years ago when the Seahawks had that Monday night game and the streets were like ice? I live in dupont and worked in tukwila on the night shift and it took me 4 hours to get to work. I lived in Denver for 35 years and never saw ice on a freeway like I saw that night. At least 3-4" solid inches worth, so, put the subaru in 4wd-low and inched around everyone who was chaining up and such. Nice and easy with no problems, once i could get around folks :)

I used to be a big snow skier (then I got old:frown:) and laughed at people in Colorado thinking it was cold.
It would be 5 degrees and I would be in a short sleeve shirt.
    No humidity/dry cold.
You couldn't pack a snow ball it was so dry (Steamboat Springs).
Where I live, it is the other way around, cold/wet high humidity.
You could deer hunt with a snow ball here!

Then I went to Wyoming, and Montana.
Those people know what cold is!
I was looking for the "North Pole" sign the last time I was in Big Sky!
It was -20, and I was NOT laughing at them!
    It hurt to laugh!

Just have her call off tomorrow. It's F'n pointless given the weather.

I'm just to the north and east of you guys up in British Columbia in the Okanagan valley and we don't have a lot of snow but it's very friggin' cold for November. -17 celcius and supposed to go to as low as -23 tomorrow night. It wasn't that cold all last winter!! Sorry to hear about the commute in Seattle. Vancouver drivers are just as retarded in the snow.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Where the hell did people go to the bathroom? there is no way I could be stuck somewhere for 8hrs and not have to use the can. Glad she made it home.

well, as far as the bathroom goes, I guess some women had to get off the bus and do the "squat" thing behind a blanket. My wife made it to the park'n'ride ok but once the cold air hit her she too had to do "squat". 8 hours is way too long to hold it....

After 41 yrs in Seattle, I'm not missing those gridlock causing snow storms at all, nor will I miss what my old telephone cable repair buds are going to be going through when it all melts.

I was up there last month for a week, and there was 5 straight days of sun in mid October, it almost made me want to move back.....Almost.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.
