The team might be going as well. I think the Vikings got a good offense but the Packers defense played outstanding.

Yeah they do -- especially in the context of being NFC runner up last year -- you could say they REALLY suck

As is typical being a Colts fan, all I can do is wonder what could be if we had a good defense. Peyton is already over 200 yards and 2 touchdowns at halftime, and yet they're still down...

I saw a bit when I went to get something for lunch and it didn't look good for the Vikings at all.

Wish I would have gotten to see the whole game, from what I saw looked like the pack put it to them.

I put this one on Peyton Manning - I watched the last :35 of the game and as far as i can see it should have gone into overtime at worst for the Colts

35 seconds of gameplay is all you needed to determine that it was Manning's fault?

It was only because of Manning that the score was so close. If you actually watched the game you'd realize the blame doesn't lie on Manning's shoulders, but rather the Colt's defense.

Favre got Mangini fired, now Childress, the coach that took the Vikings to the NFC championship last year. All of a sudden Childress is an idiot? Favre is poison and I'm glad he left Green Bay. We are perfectly happy with Aaron Rodgers.

    Agreed.

One of the yahoos on the radio this morning was contending that Manning is overrated, and yes he was talking about Peyton not his younger brother.

Clearly I'm biased since they're my team, but that's just crazy talk.

Dog Gottlieb on ESPN radio had some interesting points about Favre. In 1999 he had 23 interceptions, Ray Rhodes is fired. In 2005 he had 29 interceptions, Mike Sherman is fired. In 2008 he has 22 interceptions, Eric Mangini is fired. In 2010 he has 18 interceptions and 8 fumbles in 10 games, Brad Childress is fired. I'm just sayin' that Favre is poison.

Favre could have ended his career on a high note and been a Green Bay LEGEND. Sure his figures still ring true but the region dislikes him, fact.

Between ignorance, pride, selfishness, short sightedness and money....among everyone involved since his Packers' issue, he's leaving the game like a douchebag.

This is exactly why I get so sick of commentators gushing about how great Favre is. Favre is great for who? Ray Rhodes? Mangini or Sherman? How about that Jets chick he sent pix of his junk to? To think that someday this pri** is going to be in the hall of fame makes me sick.

I would be absolutely thrilled to see the return of Tony Dungy.

He would be a great fit and it wound be good to have him back. He should have been Minnesota's coach a long time ago.
