I have recently started using windows media center I found a add-on called my movies. I really like this add-on It rips my dvd's with no compression includes all the artwork and literature very nice app. It says it can rip blue ray I also noticed it does protected and unprotected disc I havent had any problem with any of my dvd's. Just wondering if anyone else uses this app and what there thoughts are on it. It sure is nice to put all my dvd's away in the closet.:smile:

Hey Greg. Does that app allow you to rip protected DVD's?
    Thanks

I've been using it for about a year now. I really don't use it for ripping DVD's, but as a data manager, it is excellent. I was using YAMMM, but it mysteriously stopped working. YAMMM is much more lightweight, and renames your files if you want it to do so. MyMovies is much more powerful.... it has a lot of cool settings and views for your art work and whatnot... my biggest issue is the having to participate or donate hundreds of dollars to get certain settings.

I agree it is expensive but for my 21 day free trial I should be able to rip all my movies.

I need to try out J river sometime. Does it get all the movie data and whatnot by itself without addons?
