I use a can of compressed air blowing out the grill cloth from the inside out.

Good old water. You can use a wet rag. Just wipe lightly. If you have heavier spots blot them. If you use a vacuum make sure you have a soft attachment so you do not snag the cloth.

Light vacuuming will work. I've also used a sponge that has good integrity, a bit moistened, to remove children's chalk marks and dust from the grille of a CSI-3 with success....but you have to be gentle and give it time to dry well.

The grilles on the LSIs and actually VERY thin so I'm sure vacuuming will remove any 'dust'...it probably won't do well against anything that has 'adhered' to the grill (such as the above description).

Having 2 white cats is a pain. I usually vacuum them with the soft upholstery brush but sometimes I have to get out the sticky lint roller. I use the roller because the sound of the vacuum sometimes scares the heck out of them.
