I just got a Toby Kieth SACD. Sounds real nice on my modded Denon2900:smile:
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

I've never seen it or heard it, but I've repeatedly read that the Sony 5400ES is, even at its MSRP of $1,500, one of the great bargains out there. I believe production is coming to end, if not already has done so. In modded form, the 5400ES can punch waaaaay above its class.

Right now I'm using a Sony SCD-C333ES this unit does the job nicely for what I paid for it and it helped get me there. But I am ready for something a step above!!

I was lucky enough to hear this unit with the ModWright tube mod. I got to A/B listen to this next to the Oppo 83SE ModWright mod as well. IMO the modded Oppo smoked the Sony.

Now don't take that wrong as they both sounded great I just liked the Oppo better..

The cost to have them Mod them is like $2000 I think..
