I paid $500 For my LSI C was that to much? My wife thinks so.

    I forgot what I paid, but it was more. On the other hand I replaced it with a center channel that cost $1400. One of my better decisions. Tell the wife she ain't seen nothing yet. :cool:

    Tell your wife that the center channel is the most important speaker when it comes to movies since it carries the bulk of the info. You will get more than $500 worth of use out of it, since speakers are built to last for years. My Polk RTA-8Ts are 20 years old and still going strong.

    New? Used? They can be had cheaper used but then you have to deal with finding it and worry about it's condition.

    Good to hear, Ya it funny about how much you can spend, When I pick up my flat screen a couple of years ago, I purchased a home audio system in a box for $350. Well that system now resided in the workshop where it belongs and with this last purchase I'm up to just over $2200 and by Christmas it will close to $3000 as I looking to replace my sub. Any suggestion ?

    I think you spent to much but I'm also not in Canada.

    What subwoofer do you own now?

    Since you're at the Polk Audio home forum, I'll give you a Polk suggestion. The DSWPro 600. It's not as expensive as the MicroPro series and offers a lot more bang for the buck.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Good morning,I have a Kef PSW 1000.2 as for the rest LSIC, Fronts Monitor 70 and M10 backs I will upgrading these sometime in the new year. I will check out DWSpro 600 not sure if I can buy them here will probably have to do it online.

    As for fuel I drive a diesel it's $1.01Can per liter that's close to $4.00 US per gallon and around the same for gas.The Alaska Hwy. goes through Grande Prairie so lots of folks from the US drive through here on their way up to Alaska, they must freak every time they fuel up here Canada.

    Well I have a C10 that now in the bedroom, As for why? Well I looked online and the LSIC was rated as the top of the line Polk center. I was also looking and listening to other brands but I liked the clear sound from the LSIC.

    As for the DSW 600, I was just at Visions and was looking at one it is a powerfull sub. They also have DSW 4000 looks and sounds great also. I'm thinking it may be the one.
