My banana plugs won't fit correctly into my speakers

Got my new GLS locking banana plugs and they look good but some don't seem to go all the way into the speaker inputs. Ironically one always fits but the other only goes in half way. Anyone had this problem? Am I potentially losing signal or anything else. I've made sure they are not already expanded before inputing them and 5 already fit into the receiver easily. On a side note, turning them to lock them is somewhat difficult, esp in a tight congested area like the back of a receiver. I think next time I'll get the normal type that has a bulde creating a snug fit.

I always tighten them before inserting them. It is a little trial and error. As for why you can't insert just the one all the way you may have an obstruction in there.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Are you sure the plugs aren't still in there partially (broken off)? I had that happen once. I thought the stock plug was fully out but it wasn't."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

components should be listed in my sig, but just in case, pio vsx-32 and all the gls locking banana plugs fit fine. My rti A7's are the fronts and the ones in question, the CSi A6 doesn't have any problems with the plugs fitting, my srrounds already have plugs and my sides too.
Nothing is broken off either and the plugs are not expanded. They are i there half way but rather snug since i'm really pushing them in, but not ridiculous hard. I just want them to fit correctly, kinda why I bought them! I hope i'm not losing any signal or quality, or creating any opportuity for distortion, etc......Bonus Room:

If you can please take some pics of the offending terminals and post them up."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

i could possibly take some pics but at my news channel says that might be considered discriminatory  and I don't wanna offend any plugs out there .......esp since this is a politically correct society we now live in. Not to mention, it would take valuable time away from my presidents busy schedule, he'll then have to go on another apology tour and still have to fit in 52 rounds of golf within the next yr and a half to keep pace with the current yr and a half record he set (of any sitting pres). I mean it's llike he said, this is the worst its been since the last great depression and he's been busy!!!
...........Wow, that just came out so fast, excuse me, let me get back to the question at hand, i'll try to put some pics up, never done it on this board though and its not really that big of a problem, but i just want them to work the way they were intended!Bonus Room:

Lol, relax man we'll get it figured out. It's not the plugs, post up the pics and we'll figure it out."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
