    We had no problem with mold, ever, with the budget Frigidaire model we had for over 7 years. We keep a hand towel on top of the machine, give a light wipe down after the last load, and hang it over the door, thus propping it open.

    Replaced the Frigidaire with a Bosch model that cost a bit more, and still no mold. PIA?, not really, takes less than 10 seconds, and clothes last sooo much longer without being wrenched to pieces by an agitator. I'll stick with the front-loaders.:biggrin:
