I have a Rotel CDP that I am using a digital cable to DAC then analog out to PREAMP.

Can I also at the same time run analog out of the CDP to PREAMP so I can A/B with and without external DAC ?

I know I could just try it but before going through the hassle would like opinions.

TIA,

Tracy

Please post your results Tracy. I've been tempted to pick up a DAC and have almost pulled the trigger twice, but I just didn't know if it would be worth it to me.
