Flat???

When a speaker system is rated "flat" to 30,20,10 HZ etc. What is the meaning of flat?

    Very small deviations within the frequency range. If a manufacturer claims flat 30-20khz then that usually means that the frequency neither dips or peaks more than 3db in that range.
