LORD of the RING III DVD extended version or LORD of the RING III blu-ray not extended version.........?

May be for bottom feeder like meh, this is a hard question :confused::confused::confused:

    You got a long time for the extended version to come out. If you need all the extras just wait it out, if not just go Blu. I don't get into extras at all so I bought the BD version and am very happy with it.

    IMO, buy the EE DVDs for now. They aren't merely extras, its more movie for all three films, a lot more. The transfer on the Blu-Ray is pretty bad and has gotten bad reviews you can look up for yourself. They'll (hopefully) put a lot more effort into the EE Blu-Rays coming out in 2011 or 2012.

    Yeah Doggie, it looks like it's going to be awhile for the extended version. I'd say just get the dvd's for now, and wait til they get the BD right

    Have you seen the extended versions?

    Just how much are you into these movies?

    I have the extended DVDs and am content for now until the extended BDs come out. Getting the theatrical versions on BD would just end up being a 'double dip' cost when the extended BDs do come out.

    Up to you, though.

    H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.
