Difference in LS90 tweeters

Just had a deal fall through due to the fact that tweeters were not 1993-1994 vapor deposit tweeters. What is the actual difference between them and newer ones????????

I take it someone was going to buy them and ducked out because of the tweeter? I owned the LS90's for some time and new of no other tweeters for them. his loss, the LS90's are an awesome speaker
the different tweeter excuse seems weaksauce to me on many levels. probably never a deal there to be had, but admit I can be wrong. Maybe contact Polk CS if no one on the forum knows?Living Room 2 Channel -

The newer ones are Silk I believe and sound better IMHO.

I meant the replacement ones. But I thought he was talking about a different speaker. Must have been a rough day. I know no difference between them..
