Adcom 5802 (non common ground amp).
Want to use this amp for SDA's (with interconnect cable in place).
How exactly do I do this. Do I use a piece of speaker wire from one ground of the terminals to the ground on the other channel? Not sure if this is how people 'strap' their Adcoms to make them common ground.
pics would be nice too. thanks guys

If you search for the A1 Interconnect that might get you some information tonight.. I don't know much more than that..
But i know that it exists and will allow the use of a non-common ground amp with the SDA effect

Hey Bro, I just responded to this question in the "Off Topic" thread.

IMHO I would use a good 12 ga cooper wire to do the strapping such as the Rat Shack 12 ga pure cooper stranded hook up wire. -
Yes, just jump the two negative terminals.
You may wish to ref this thread
Where DarqueKnight had done some testing.
"When using Adcom 5000 series amps with my SDA 1B's or SDA SRS's, the negative speaker terminals must be connected.
When using Adcom 5000 series amps with my SDA 1C's, CRS +'s, or 1.2TL's, the negative speaker terminals do not have to be connected."
My 1.2's run fine without the neg being connected, but have connected and found no difference.SDA SRS 1.2
