Anybody buy the new Apocalypse Now Blu Ray set yet? Can you post impressions on the sound quality?
I've got the old Laser that I've kept around as the PCM surround destroys what was offered on the DVD, has anybody had the LD and compared to the BD? I found the PCM sounded more 'open' with a ton more bass then the DVD. If the BD is up to snuff I'll snag it.

Reviewer said if they could give it 6 stars they would. Sound is reference quality. Described the movie as using a version of sensurround. I wonder if that's why the bass in this movie is so well done. I vaguely remember sensurround as a kid. The real 'buttkicker' for movies...
