looking for front Speakers
Hi to everyone. I am new to audio field, I need help from all experienced friends as well as brothers in this forum with choosing right front speakers for my karaoke system. I am planing to set up the Karaoke system for my sister. I have already had:
1. Onkyo 608 7. 2 Receiver and Vocopro DA- 3700 Amp with 300 Watt speaker output
2. Polk Monitor 30 x 2
3. Polk CS1 x 1
4. Polk Sub PSW505
I am looking for the Polk Monitor 70 and Polk Monitor 60, but It is hard for me to choose which one is better for my system. I may use 80% for music, especially for Karaoke and 20% for movies. the Room size 17 x 14.
Any help will be appreciated
Kyle.

I just purchased a pair of Monitor 70's and they sound great. Have them hooked up to my Kenwood receiver until my Onkyo TX-n808 receiver arrives.

Thanks for your information. I have been waiting for the input for several days and found no one help me on this matter, so I went to my friends house who has both Monitor 70 and 60 with PSW505 like mine. He and I tried both of them 2 front channels with PSW505 Sub and pair with his Onkyo HT-260. Finally I like the 60 more than 70, since the 70 seem to be a little muddy compared to 60 when set them as small and the 60 is clean and more details. Overall the 70 and 60 both of them are great speakers but it depends on everyone's taste. I already bought the 60 and my sister loves it.

Good choice. Yes, especially when used with a sub and being crossed over at 80 Hz, the M60 is a more logical choice. Even the 50s will work fine.Things are more like they are now than they ever will be!
