Hum from subwoofer

I recently switched up my subwoofer connections on my LSi25's and have noticed a real improvement in bass response. I put my subwoofer cable into the "LFE In" instead of the "Line in". However,'after doing this, imnow notice a hum from the subwoofer. Anything I can do about this?

Assuming your outlets are wired correctly:

Is the sub power connected to the same outlet? If not try that.

You can get an isolation transformer. Anything from a $15 Radio Shack hum eliminator to a $50 Art DTI.

You could remove the ground lug off of the sub woofer cable (I don't really recommend that).
