The speaker is intended as a center channel, I guess you could get two and run them in stereo, but they'd have to sit horizontally not vertically.
The dispersion pattern would be kind of far off and you'll get some irregular imaging from them.
Personally I wouldn't recommend it.Main Surround -

It's not ideal but I find no harm in using that particular loudspeaker as a stereo pair. Go vertical and keep the tweeters on the outside. The Polk RM series is flexible in this way as well. Martin Logan and NHT also have L/C/R speakers.
If the tweeter was angled or used a dispersion bracket, sure you'd have major problems but it doesn't.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
