May be able to pick up a pair of nice looking LS50's for $150.00. Is this a good price? All I could find was one listing earlier in the year for $250.00, thanks for the advice guys.

That's not a bad price for a really clean set of LS50's especially if they are local and all the drivers, tweeters are working great. Make sure you get to audition them cranked through a decent amp or AVR. If seller won't audition them for you, I'd pass on them.

I wouldn't sell mine for $150. If they are functional and semi cosmetically ok I'd say run don't walk. Very under-rated IMO

Would check, I may use these as a replacement for my CRS's for the time being, as I don't have the space to really get the full SDA effect with them. I don't know, I'm so flip-floppy! How do these stack up against CRS's? I have the 2 tweet version, pretty mint condition. I know it may not be a fair comparison.

Not a fair comparo at all. Apples and oranges. The LS50's are just nice sounding floorstanders. The tri-lam tweeters are nice with the correct equipment, mids are very smooth and the bass is surprising for a smaller floorstander.

Thank you Ken, I may have a chance to demo these today if I can sneak away from work...

I would pay that for a nice pair. I bought some LS70's new way back when and still enjoy them. They are a great line of speakers.
