This little TEAC has some good reviews....the bad reviews seem to be from those who expect it to work like a $500+ receiver. Will just run computer output through it.
Anyone have opinions? I had the Teac separates executive series for my office once....I also used the NAD integrated that I sold....would like the full receiver to listen to KU get crushed in football....basketball is starting though.
I am posting a wanted 2/5 channel receiver for under $200. Maybe George Daniel will see back the one I sold him!

Just computer output? Why not just buy an amp? Thats what I did. I have an Adcom GFA-555 driving budget JBL500 bookshelves; bought the amp for under $230 on eBay. It may be way overkill, but its got great versatility.
I might be swapping the JBL out for LSi FX speakers though. Not sure yet.Do you hear that buzzing noise?

What speakers are you planning on driving? Its not the best, but a cheap Parts Express T-amp would work. Might not sound the best or get really loud, but for radio and low level music I would think it would work ok.
All depends on the quality of the speakers you have though..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Any reason not to pick up a vintage receiver? They're all over Craigslist for next to nothing, and the silver face plus wood cabinet would look great on the office shelf.

I'll be using Monitor 5's most likely....maybe pick up another set of 5jr+....which makes me wonder why I just sold the pair I had.....
I have always plugged stereo into receiver or integrated.....used the stereo miniplug coming out and then plugged into RCA Y.....I do want a tuner for AM/FM.....
I've looked at vintage Ebay...a little risky...but I'll look some more..
