Today is veterans day and I wish to send out my deepest gratitude to all Veterans past and present.
I personally have great respect for all who serve in the armed services to allow me the fredoms I enjoy.

My deepest thoughts to all who serves/served in the name of freedom all across the world.
………….our women and men, both young and old, who are serving and have served, in our country’s Navy, Army, and Air Force with a poem memorized while attending a country school in SK.

    In Flanders’s Fields
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
    In Flanders Fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
    In Flanders Fields.
    - John McCrae

Thanks Technokid for the poppy image and poem. I sometimes think that the people of the Commonweath nations are touched more by Remembrance Day (Veteran's Day) than us here in the U.S. We owe our vets who gave all so much for our freedoms. Seems like so many people take it for granted these days. Lest We Forget
