    Do a little searching on the web,your bound to find something.

    I bought a Philips CDR880 with the TDA1541 DAC chip in it off our very own George Grand earlier this year. Perhaps he has cd recorder he would sell. By the way the Philips unit is really good but like most cd recorders you need to buy special audio cdr's. I'm using Sony audio cdr's with excellent results.

    I only have two of those left I believe, both Philips machines. One is a CDR-870 single well/tray, the other is a dual-deck CDR-778 in the original box. I have the manual for the 870, I'm not sure about the 778. If you need to talk further, send me a PM and we'll retire to my office. Both will be within your budget I'm sure.
