I was kind of hoping that it was being filmed in Atlanta - with the TBS connection and whatnot. They were even advertising the hell out of it at the CNN center with Conan blimps flying overhead nearly every day. Oh well....
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I've always liked Conan O'Brian, and thought the beginning of the show was a riot. That being said, I probably won't watch it again because I've got other thigns going on that time of night usually, like sleeping. Although, if I had to pick between him, Letterman, or Leno, he's got my vote.

Conan is my favorite late night host, I enjoyed the premier very much. Tonight Soundgarden is on, I won't be missing that.

Well... the skull, you see... is normally hollow. You've got sinuses, which serve to prewarm the air you breathe in (and also to lessen the mass of your face, else your chin would be perpetually embedded in your chest)... and then, normally, a large open space above the brainpan but below the calvarium. That open space is generally filled with white and grey neural tissue (and some fluid and other stuff)... but some heads are just full of bone. Boneheads, some call them

Yeah Larry. Jack White is one newer rock person who actually has talant (IMO). Granted he borrows a lot from 70's rock, but I guess it's expected. At least he's interesting to listen to. I saw The Dead Weather on "Later with Jools" the other night and they did a fantastic job.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

    Well played.

But while I appreciate the anatomy lesson, I was more referring to what in particular qualifies a popular comedian, writer, and late-night talk-show host as a bonehead over the alternatives. Or are they ALL boneheads, and the gentleman who originally named them such is just devoid of a sense of humor?

Soundgarden sounded very good. Wonder if their "reunion" will produce any new material?

I read an article quoting Chris Cornell somewhere, where he stated it might be nice to record another song with the band. One song? Looks like after 13 years all they are doing is promoting a "greatest hits" album, kind of a bummer.

    Soundgarden was awesome.

I used to test unfinished games for Electronic Arts way back in the day , we were testing for a game coming out on the 3DO/Playstation platform going to be called Road Rash. It was going to be one of the first to be able to include surround audio and video clips , so we all brought in music to see how it matched with the gameplay.

I brought in AC/DC , I figured Dirty deeds done dirt cheap would be perfect for the chain smacking motorcycle antics....one of my friends ( Tony ) brought in Soundgardens Badmotorfinger...the whole group agreed that after hearing Rusty Cage...it was a done deal....it fit perfectly to the games theme.

Some of you older game playing farts might remember Road Rash
