F1 Race

Me and the girl were watching the F1 race on the DVR. We started at 9PM aprox. I turned the AVR on to get the full effect. The AVR has two amps monoblocked to the RTA15's. Thanks to Miller Lite Scott I now have outdoor speakers that sound great. They are hooked up to the AVR. The gain on the amps is about 10AM, so pretty low. As with any good F1 fan you turn the volume up when they start.

Needless to say, I forgot that A B switch on the AVR was on to the outdoor speakers.

I had the AVR at about 2-3pm, very LOUD with just the AVR pumping out. LMAO I really can't imagine what the neighbors were thinking when they hear F1 cars at full song at about 10pm in the night.

We are laughing our butts off.

I hope they like F1 races.........

I had an alcoholic neighbor who was always forgeting the outside speakers were turned on. After a while I got tired of asking him to turn the speakers off, and just started calling the police. Finally, he got the hint, sold his house, and moved. Don't let that happen to you.

Totally by mistake Blue. Alcohol was not a factor.

    First time it has happened.

Just thought it was a funny story for F1 fans.

It was only 10 min before I noticed.

    To err is human.

That is funny right there... I have done that before. Luckily the neighbors are about an 1/8 mile away. It's nice to live in the boonies.

What a great race in either case.

Tony, I have left my whole house amp on and not realized it till I went up stairs and could hear the other speakers in the house playing. I usually have most of my outdoor speakers off and my wife will yell down to let me know the music is playing throughout the house.

Funny none the less. And it was a pretty cool race in the middle of the pack.

Will it go to the the last turn in the last lap of the last race like it did in 2008?

I doubt it but it will be a cool race to watch.

That was pretty funny! I've left mine on before, but never cranked up - that's why I didn't notice it until the next day. What did you end up with for outdoor speakers?
