BlackHole & Sonic Barrier in my 1C's

Well I finally got around to putting my rings in my 1C's

This got me to put them in my rig and put some power to them. Well I still gotta say the BlackHole and Sonic Barrier are the ****.. The Clarity is just so beautiful and crisp.

I think I jumped the gun pulling it all out of my 1.2tl's. What I should have done is take a little out not all of it, and gave it some time. I just might give this a go in them 1 more time. I think I put to much in them.

These 1C's have some serious balls. With the addition of the rings the lows are so tight,I wish these could be heard by a few of you guys!! The upgrades done to these is unreal..

    Larry, Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a Blackhole and sonic barrier?

    Larry,,I did my 1C's about three months ago--blackhole,sonic barrier,and rings,, I did some A-B testing,,with rings,,with rings and blackhole,,the speakers are actually much bigger now,,thats the only way that I can describe it,,huge soundstage,,much improved SDA effect,,and plenty of bass,,not flabby either.I must admit that I agonized before and during the procedure,,but what I ended up with is very satisfying.Then only thing that I'm gonna try is a Clarity Cap in the tweeter circuit now,,mine are spiked,sonicapped and Vampire binding posts as well.It has certainily moved me up a few rows.YMMV.
