Hi all, I have a pair od SDA SRS withe damaged grill covers, so they are left off. The cones are collecting dust and the rubber like rims around the cones are getting a brown like type of film/dirt. Any recomondations for cleaning these speakers and or conditioning them to look and last better?

Use windex and a high quality paper towel that won't leave, paper towel white "dust".

Spray the windex on the towel then wipe away.

Agreed, I use lintless cotton cloths.

Thank you so much. I will try that. Is there anything I can do to the rubber like material around the speakers, they are dry and dirty. I tried water and towel, that didnt do anything. I'm afraid to use anything like armor all or some other type of luberication liquid. Could any of that damage?

Windex should work on those as well with some light rubbing, but I would steer clear of armor all, which would probably just attract more dust in the long run.

You could move them to your back yard, borrow your neighbors 3500psi power washer and with a stiff wire brush give them a good cleaning,..............................or just use a little windex and a lint-free cloth.

Windex will clean the cones and surrounds perfectly. Do NOT use Armor All.
