FXi A4 Positioning

Hi,

I am setting up my first Home Theatre using an A7 pack. I am wondering when mounting the XFi A4's as rears should they be mounted slightly behind the seating or fairly square with the seating?

    I would mount them directly behind the seating area, if possible and play with the dipole/bipole setting as you see fit for the best sound. If you can't mount them directly behind, then your idea of slightly behind the seating area would be my choice.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Thanks for the reply, unfortunately its in my living not a dedicated room and my house is open plan so no rear wall.

    What about height? Should they be between head height the roof or closer to head height

    4-6" inches from the ceiling. Never head height if at all possible.
