Ciao Carver fans:

a friend bought a whole Carver system. The M 1.5t is only playing one channel. Is it an easy fix??? Will Rita's restoration bring it back to life? It is supposedly near MINT in appearance. Is it worth $145.00. What is Rita's cost for redo? Does that include the updates? Will it be "Better" than new and worth the expense?

you can probably fix it yourself some input caps solder are bad on these I know because I have one and fixed it by de soldering it and re soldering it with 4% silver bearing solder from rat shack. I sent mine into Rita as well and it came back with the left channel coming and going, rather than sending it in again She told me what to look for and I fixed it myself. pull the cover and gently wiggle the caps circled in this post #13

if it comes back in it need to be re-soldered. front is the left back is the right.

    good luck!

Also the cost does not include upgrades and yes if it has the same problem as mine it is worth $145
