I am interested in installing tube sockets and analog balaned (XLR) outputs in my Denon DVD-5910 dvd player. I know for the tube sockets, I will need a power supply for them, and will probably need to add a transformer. Has anyone tried this and can give me some direction on how to go about it. I have been searching the internet on how to do it but have found basically nothing for the DVD-5910. I have found people who have created balanced DAC's but that's about it. Can anyone with a fair amount of electronic experience help me out with this. Thank you for your help.

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Thanks Ben. I e-mailed him and am hoping he has a kit that will allow me to accomplish this. Have you tried anything like this? I know you have done some pretty substantial electronic work. Thanks Ben.
