So anyone, ever heard, or had experience, or anything with this brand?
So yesterday I was traveling around the Milwaukee, WI area going to a few audio stores and had some other stuff I was attending to. The one I stopped into had a bunch of gear, pre amp, amps, speakers, by this company called Signature.
Well the owner comes over and starts talking to me about stuff and states that this is his brand and that he builds everything by hand but has been reviewed in The Absolute Sound, Stereophile, Audio (1992mag that reviewed his tube amps) and some others but I tried searching the web and came up with nothing. His 50 watt per channel tube amp was around 1K and it sounded good in the set up he had.
The thing though is his prices on the stuff especially the tube amps is not that bad. He also has a pair of dipole speakers that use 2 15" woofer with a ribbon tweeter in them that sounded very good for the very poor placement they were in.
He states he gets the transformers from a guy that does it by hand that also does all the transformers that come in for repair for McIntosh and he lives in Milwaukee, WI as well. Build was good from what I saw, but all the speakers remind me of Vadees where they have the cloth covering and you are not able to see the drivers, besides on the one with the 2 15s when there was bass slam the cloth moved like no other, and it was LOUD.

found his info. Heard the big 200W per channel tube amps, the 50 w/c tube amps, and the .7 and 2.1 speakers.
Doesn't put a lot of info on there about them but they sounded good, very dynamic and tight bass, however nothing that really floored me at all. -
Looks like nice stuff, but not enough info as the website is still under construction.

well his tube amps he's had around since 1986 when he said he bought another company but I can't remember the name. I was just trying to see if anyone here ever heard of him at all as I couldn't find any of his reviews or info besides the website online.

Did he mention anything about prices? That would weigh heavily in my mind as I'm usually willing to take the leap on an unknown if the price is good enough.

The biggest speakers with the 2 15's in each set up in a dipole cost around 9500. The big tube amps that push 200W is around I think 4Kish. He did have some used stuff however. The used version of the big boys use 10 inch woofers with their own amp and then would just need a amp to drive the mids which he said the speakers he would sell for 1500 (normal cost was like 6-7K) and the tube amp to drive the center would be 1K and pushes 50W/c.
Not 100% sure if the new prices are competative for hand made 1 man show like that but the used stuff was very low priced IMO compared to what he had it for new.
PS he stated that when doing this he would compare and voice his stuff against AR amps and pres hooked up to some quads (which were huge double quads with a ribbon in the middle that stood like 6ft tall.)
