I just paid $400 so I will sell for $375 shipped and inc paypal

Well I just bought this 2 weeks ago I think and although its an awesome receiver I just bought it as a pre amp (it has pre outs yes!!)but have decided to go for a dedicated pre

This thing has awesome power 110 watts per channel. I bought an emotiva amp(also fs) to power my speakers but instead never even used it because the pioneer sounded way better and more dynamic then the emotiva upa5 but I never really had it up loud enough to do a fair comparison

I love this avr too ken but my wife complains that she liked the dynamic volume eq on the onkyo we had and wants me to go with that feature so the only way to do that is to buy an integra 9.9

I would buy an integra 9.8 but I dont think it has that feature

I can be botherd reading through the manual for this online and the guy I bought this from on ebay never included it. He even tryed to screw me out of the mic and remote an d I had to get him to mail it separately

Found midnight mode after printing off the manual it solved the problem

This is still up for sale

This receiver has pre outs and 110 watts per channel but it does not go well with martin logans in my opinion

As long as the warranty is transferrable I am interested in purcasing. Also, was this a new purchase or a refurb?

    Thanks,

Nice AVR, does anyone here have some input as how this would stack up against my Onkyo TX-SR607? Looks like at a minimum I'd be gaining more power, and pre amp outputs. Where are you located Farmboy??

I am in MN ....the shippings free ....hurrah !!!

Shawn has passed so its still up for grabs

No warranty but you can always buy a square trade if your need one

I owned an onkyo 607 and it has way more power ,better bass ,airy highs and way more clarity in the centre channel . I never noticed how muffled onkyo sounded until I bought this

+1, Elites need to be compared to higher level Onkyos--not the 600 series which usually sells new for less than 400?

Go with the Pioneer unless you consider, let's say an Onkyo 1000 series or greater. And then you wouldn't get the deal pfboy is offering here!

Woot! Very excited about getting this, I'm hoping that PFB has some heart and will overnight it to me, free of charge of course! I can't wait to see how this stacks up against the Onkyo 607. If it doesn't 'crush' it, I'm coming after Ken and cnh!! Just so everyone knows, PFB was great to deal with, kept me up to date, did not delay on responding to any of my questions, and was patient with my paypay issue. I'd buy from him again!
