Rev. Hayes has been banned.




But can anyone tell me why?


Is is possible that Club Polk banned him solely for entertaining the idea of replacing his SDA 2As with Vandersteens?

    Usually they delete the post that gets the person banned. Hopefully he'll be back.

    What exactly did you say to get banned? I don't think it's anything about the Vandy thread.

    We talk all things in lives and this club is very tolerant to all sorts of weirdos and not easy for one to get canned.
    Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone. :redface::biggrin:

    Take a look at any of my prior posts. I am not the sort to create needless confrontation but I feel that I have been sorely mistreated by being banned without explanation.

    I sent visitor messages to the moderators under my current screen name and have not received a response. I know they are busy too and I should have waited longer before I started this thread but its been a long day and this was the proverbial straw.

    I am not just trying to stir it up here I am honestly looking for understanding.

    No one....I repeat, NO ONE has ever been banned for not-having, not-owning or not-liking Polk Audio loudspeakers. So don't even think about using that as a scapegoat excuse.

    I see you as banned by Polk Audio HQ. I'm not sure what you did or said but that's from as high up as it gets. Perhaps it was a mistake but I'd suggest you PM Kenneth Swauger or PatrickC instead of starting a hoodoo about it and not taking the time to contact them in the first place. There's no need for a thread about it.

    My reference to to Vandy thread was really meant tongue in cheek.
    It was simply the last thing I posted and thus the only thing that I could have done to get banned. I don't actually think Polk would do that.


    As stated above I have sent messages to Patrick and Kenneth. I did so before starting this thread. I did not hear back. It is likely I didn't wait long enough.


    You are right, I should stop this thread now before I actually deserve what I got.

    Rev. - Just relax....give them some time to respond ok? I checked your last month or so and didn't see anything that stood out, so I'm not sure why it happened. It could have been as simple as a spam mixup.

    Rev. Hayes, from my personal knowledge of your posts through time I never seen any reason for you to get ban, quite the opposite. Now, I may not be aware that some may have happened lately (all of us may loose it at times). I don't see you would be helping your self with this thread approach as I think such should be dealt with Polk authorities solely, not on the forum.

    IMHO, you and only you know of your behavior and can address that with Polk. If you are in your right and can not get satisfaction, just remember this is a business and you do not have beg, simply threath as a business that no longer is worth your consideration. At least that is how I would threath...

    GL dealing with Polk directly and I sincerely hope we can virtually croos path again :wink:
