in-ceiling speakers for music???

Hi I am setting up a home theatre system and can unfortunatley only use in-ceiling speakers. I really care more about listening to music than watching movies. Should I blow my budget on one pair of really good front left and right speakers (maybe the TC80i's) paired with a sub and then fill in the surround (center and rears) with something from monoprice? Will this sound terrible for movies?
