Cowboys are in "Phone it in mode" it seems. That is the coach's fault. Without a doubt. It's a shame too because in the NFC, East or not, 6 losses is not a death sentence at this point. But they won't get over crying in their milk about how worse off they are long enough to play like so many people thought they could play.

Peter King thinks Jerry should can Wade like yesterday and put Decamillo or Garrett in as head honcho and give one of them a chance since it's clear Wade is a non-factor at this point. Kinda feel bed for Wade. He's a real nice guy but his team is abusing his nice-guy demeanor.

I'm inclined to agree with Mr. King and Jerry should act now and send a message. What's it gonna hurt? It either turns things around and they play like we know they can or the downward slide continues. Nothin' lost, everything to gain.

As far as the rest of the NFL, BOOOOORING! The only thing worth mentioning was Shannahan benching McNabb. That was actually kinda funny. Oh and Moss' "5 Minutes of Crazy" speech after the Viqueens got spanked by the Pats.

But I thought people also didnt like how Garrett was calling the offensive plays? They really need to clean house I think.. which may be why ole' Jerry Jones hasn't made his move yet.. can't replace everyone at Week 8.. especially with the strike looming..

Ya know, sucking is one thing, but not really putting forth an effort at all is inexcusable. I would be seriously pissed if I'd bought a ticket to the Cowboy game yesterday.

    Same here.

The only GOOD thing about that game was that for once, Joe Buck was no where near the broadcast booth!

    I know...

Every time they show him and Troy he's just sitting there staring at Troy, I'm fairly certain that he has a man crush on Troy Aikman...

I actually feel bad for Wade as well, he just looks beaten down. It all starts with the head coach though, there's gotta be a change there. Even if the other guys aren't any better, like you said, you've got nothing to lose by changing coaches.

You think that's bad, try listening to him call a Phillies' game with that fossil McCarver!

BTW, didja ever notice how the camera always looks down at Aikmen and Buck, they never shoot Buck below the waste and he never does on-field interviews without an extreme close-up? Yet in the booth shots, Buck and Aikmen are often shown at similar heights when Bucks is 3+ inches shorter? I really don't think he's actually 6'1" tall and either stands on stools or has platform shoes or something.

I heard that soundbite on the radio this AM driving back to work. It was kind of weird (the whole deal was kind of weird, actually).

That's wild that if he goes through the waivers, gets picked up by someone else, the vikings have to pay him for the rest of the season which makes him the greatest bargin in the NFL as of right now......except for the vikings.

He will get paid to play for someone else.....how perfect does that sound?! I wish my company paid me to be a failed book writer or recliner test person.

Send Moss to the Fins please. I know he's old and a baby, but I can't imagine what D's would do if they had to match up to him and Brandon Marshall. Davone Bess would have a field day.

And I think whoever picks him up has to pay the remainder of his contract if he gets claimed on waivers.

I hope the Redskins get Moss, but after yesterday's showing and embarassing coaching move that doesn't seem likely. I feel like this franchise is destined to be bad - arrogant, meddling owner who has mortgaged every draft for free agent busts and now a coach whose ego benched a future hall of famer for Rex Freakin' Grossman. I am not saying McNabb played a particularly smart game. In fact I think he sucked. But Grossman?!?!?!?!?!?! Jesus!!!!! The ONLY justice that could have happened is for him to get hurt (not seriously of course) on that first play, have the Redskins recover and have McNabb lead them on a game winning drive.

Methinks this has sealed the fate of McNabb in DC. There is no way that he is going to re-sign here after this.

    +1

This is true.. Vikings only have to pay if no one picks him up on waivers.. then he can get a new contract with a new team and double-dip..

but if someone claims him off waivers, they claim the rest of his salary too
