I have a chance to pick some of these up in excellent condition for 150+tax. One metal jumper is missing though. any opinions?

I like the jamo sound...the decoupled tweeter really makes for a nice high end...I have the c401. For 150 the c603 should be a stealMain 2ch -

I wouldn't worry about the metal jumper, I always replace mine with wire ones anyways. Sounds like a good deal, i've heard good things about Jamo but i've never personally heard them.

Well I went and got them, I got them going and they have to be some of the best bookshelf speakers I have ever heard. Mint condition with the exception on the missing jumper.

glad you like them.. I really sometime would like to pick up a pair of their C803's at some point in the future.. the one Jamo dealer we had in Austin, no longer carries them even though the Jamo website says they do..Main 2ch -

The C803 is just about the same thing but not upside down and 7" mid/woofer right?

I think the cabinet is a little different as well. its supposed to be a really musical speaker though.Main 2ch -

Well I got them going a few days ago on my upstairs rig with my homemade $10 stands. These sound exceptional for bookshelf speakers, they don't sound like bookshelf at all and are pulling main duty with no problems. I had to make the stands pretty tall to make the tweeters ear level to account for their upside down design. Anyone coming across these for a low price should not hesitate, or any of the higher end Jamo stuff as well.
