Wish I could but right now cash is super tight. I am also not sure I have good enough gear to really drive those speakers.
My Carver isnt really rated for low ohm loads and its only 125x5 and my guess is that those need quite a bit more than that.
If something changes trust me I will let you know. They would look real nice on either side of my 59" HDTV"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." I'll take em. I'm curious...are those painted, or is that a stock finish? I don't recall them coming from the factory so glossy. You can pm me if you'd like. Thanks.

well they certainly look better! you can get new dust caps from PE http://www.parts-express.com/wizards/searchResults.cfm?searchFilter=dust cap
Those take a serious amp, loads drop below 1 ohm are common and they can fry amps. -
Damn those look nice! I know where a pair of RS II's are sitting right now for $400 obo....wish I had the cabbage.--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -
Just curious what you used to take the paint/stain off?
-
Its called CitriStrip. Got it from Lowes.
-
@bdaley6509 how do they sound? these are what i'm getting in a few weeks.PolkAudioClyde
-
They are a fantastic speaker. You need a good amp to drive them, but if your electronics are good, you will LOVE them. Congrats.
-
PolkClyde - I also have a pair of kappa 9 speakers and I feel they are the best performing speaker I have owned to this point in time. I agree with comment regarding need for a "stout" amp - the Kappa 9s need a lot of current to sound their best.
