Just wanted to post here that I see a pair of cherry RTI12's on CL here in Illinois for a nice asking price $450.00. I am in know way associated with this seller. Just thought I would let Polkies know.

    I just spoke to the guy and he dropped the price to $300 for the pair!!. Obviously at this price they were sold. Hopefully, someone else on the forum picked them up.

    Yep, I bought these this morning for my brother-in-law and drove up to Wisconsin to meet him. I had no interest in these since I have a black pair but I let my brother-in-law know and he wanted them bad at this price,so road trip. They sounded great and were in good shape.I have another post here.

    I called earlier today. They are definitely gone... At least that is what he told me. In fact, he told me he sold them for $50 because he was so upset he couldn't find a buyer. Not sure if I believe that or not, but that is what he said. Sounds like they are definitely gone.

    If someone else gets a different story, I would be interested.

    I found that odd myself. He is a different character. He told me he had a friend list them for him bur never answered the question why he relisted them. He teed to sell me some other stuff though.

    Guys, I did purchase these for my brother in-law on Sunday for $300.00 for the pair. I have no idea why they are relisted because he said he only had one set. That being said, I talked to my brother in-law tonight and he cleaned them all up and he is loving them. He said they blow away his older Boston VR towers. He is currently running these off a Harmon Kardon receiver that is only rated at 50 wpc while his Yamaha RXV2600 is in the shop. I told him that giving these RTi12's more power with the Yamaha will open them up more. But he is very happy with them especially at $300.00. He also just signed up to club polk!:wink:
