Sony DVP cx777es

Folks,
Currently I am using my Denon 2910 as my music source as it is SACD capable. I am looking at a Sony DVP cx777es. I currently live in a 'snug' apartment and have recently burnt all of my CD's to a HD (in a lossless format) and was looking at placing all of them into storage. With this I could load most of my CD's and all ofmy SACD's and just find a storage spot for the jewel cases. Since I live where I do and winter is already here I was trying to keep from storing the CD's outside during the winter. I am sure cold isn't the worst thing you could do to them, but I am unsure.
I guess the only question I have is I have heard people speak highly of the es line but couldn't recall if the "MEGA STORAGE" models received the same praise.
Any thoughts?
