Subwofer cable direction

I could use a bit of assistance. I am in the middle of a new HT install at my home and my mind is going blank on me right now.

I purchased an AQ Subwoofer cable. There is a directional arrow on the cable. Do I install the cable with the arrow pointing toward my AVR, or to the sub?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards

    start with toward the sub.

The arrow will plug into the subwoofer. Technically, the arrow shows the signal flow where a third "ground" lead terminates independently of the two signal leads. The adapter should be fine, as long as it doesn't introduce a ground-loop, which will be evident by a constant, low-volume "hum" coming from the subwoofer.
