They had a recall on the amps for these subs, and that company scooped them up. I've been wanting to score one for a while, and use it with my Behringher or Crown amp....but I don't want to pay for 4 lol.Main Surround -

I think they were supposed to be the match to the LSi system, but the amps were known to blow quite easily. I would say there are no parts available. You can probably get a BASH amp from Parts Express that would power them quite well as long as you could get the cutouts to match or make an adapter plate. For rig details, see my profile. I'd cut a piece of MDF to fit the hole, put a set of binding posts on, and then power it with my 1400w Crown XTi with the integrated x-over. It'd prolly rock the house. Hell with 2 x 700w I could wire 2 into the Crown and cause a small aftershockMain Surround -

Yeah, that would probably be a better solution than trying to fit something into the original cutout. The question is, whether this twin 10" sub with an external amp would be better than a single 12" SVS which would probably run the same amount after you add the cost of an amp. Dunno. Since the LSI sub never really made it out for review, its hard to say how it would sound. Maybe some of the insiders can comment? For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -

well a few months back i contacted Polk CS and was told they were knock-offs that they never had any problem with them, and the woofers in them were cheap imitations of drivers they used. In other words complete denial and told me to steer clear of the item because of their quality
was also told by another seller at the time that a amp that PE sell is an exact match but that amp cost 500.00 and back then they(ebay seller) were asking for best offer and quite a few sold for less than 100.00 which would make it even more appelling -

I would buy an SVS sub, but I already have a Behringer and Crown XTi 1000 sitting around collecting dust (well, they're on craigslist too).
But if I had one, or two of these, I could rock the house on the cheap.Main Surround -
