Not sure if anyone has seen this yet or not, but a remastered version of Pretty Hate Machine, Nine Inch Nails' first album, is coming out 11/22/2010. It can be ordered through Amazon for $9.99.

Given the quality of The Downward Spiral remaster (and the resulting SACD), I have high hopes for the remastering quality on this one and will definitely be picking it up.

Looks like this one is going to vinyl, too, although sadly no SACD :(

    Regardless, I'm pumped!

One of the greatest discs of that timeframe. Thanks for the headsup on the remaster; I'll be curious what you guys have to say about the quality!

UPS damaged mine, waiting for a replacement from Amazon.

I hate ordering anything this time of the year.

I'm in for the vinyl version, for those of you that got the CD, are there extra remixes on them? Like from the dance days?

Trent had a great ear for canocopy (sp) mash it up sound, made Phil Spector sound wimpy. I loved to play 'Wish' from the Broken Lp at full tilt when I wanted to make the BF run screaming from the room

Trent obviously had a hate relationship with the origional master, he made some comments whispered in the background "f@#k you Steve', I have to look the ref up on that.

What do you know, the new one is here already.

Sounds great, very clean and better spacial info. Best of all, it's not overly compressed or bright like most remasters. Trent should get into the remastering business, he'd made a lot of Audiophiles happy!

Doesn't the original release have an awesome sound to it or am I thinking of a different one? I'll have to pick up the vinyl version.
