Hooking up PSW10 to a computer

I have a couple of satellite Polk RM8s lying around that I'm not currently using. I wanted to use them for my living room computer and was thinking about hooking them up directly to a PSW10 through an adapter to my computer's 1/8" connection going to the line-in ports. Is this possible without using a receiver? If not, are there any suggestions on what kind of sub I can use with my RM8's for proper amplification?

I don't think so man. A sub's amp is there for the sub, not to amplify other speakers, and I really don't think that there is a sub out there like that. get a receiver and a video card with a digital (spdif) output and you''ll be set."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Use a receiver. Or buy computer speakers that have a dedicated amplifier.
You can't use a home theater sub to power your satellites, it's not made for that.Main Surround -
